What happens when you put good beer, live tradition, and a room full of people willing to try something fun, something new? This July, we're tapping into that magic - and we'd love for you to be there. Whether you grew up dancing at Moravian festivals or you've never done a single step in your life, we'd like you to join us. Good times mandatory, dancing highly encouraged : )
What's happening
An evening of Moravian folklore, brought to you by the Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Seattle. We're thrilled to welcome Adam Blahák, a folklorist visiting all the way from Moravia, who will lead a fun, beginner-friendly dance workshop. Expect connection, community, and - because we'll be at a brewery - some excellent beer to go with it.
What to expect
A relaxed, welcoming night of dancing and good company. Adam will guide the workshop, so no experience is needed — just a willingness to move and laugh a little. (Dancing is completely voluntary but highly encouraged. You may arrive a spectator and leave a folk dancer.)
